Terms & Conditions
The basis on which we quote for and carry out roofing and roofline work.
1. About us
T&T Rooflines is a family run roofing and roofline business based at 17 Egmont Rd, Middlesbrough TS4 2HU. Contact: 07919 512218 / tandtrooflines@live.co.uk. We are contactable monday to sunday, 9am – 5pm.
2. Quotations
Quotations are free and carry no obligation. We provide them in writing after inspecting the work. A quotation is based on what was visible and accessible at the time of inspection; if additional defects are uncovered once work begins, we will explain them, show you photographs and agree any change in price with you before proceeding.
3. Scope of work
The work we will carry out is the work described in your written quotation. Anything not listed there is not included.
4. Access and site
You agree to provide reasonable access to the property, including space for scaffolding, access equipment and materials where required. We will keep the site tidy and remove our waste on completion.
5. Scheduling and weather
Roofing is weather-dependent. We will agree dates with you and keep you informed, but we may need to reschedule where conditions make work unsafe or would compromise the quality of the finish.
6. Insurance
We hold £1,000,000 public liability insurance. Details are available on request before work begins.
7. Guarantees
We guarantee our workmanship. The terms of that guarantee vary depending on the job and the materials specified, and will be confirmed to you for your project. Manufacturer guarantees on materials, where they apply, are provided by the manufacturer on their own terms. Guarantees do not cover damage caused by third parties, alterations by others, storm or accidental damage, or lack of reasonable maintenance such as keeping gutters clear.
8. Photographs
We photograph work before and after completion as a record for you and for us. See our privacy policy for how those images are used.
9. Payment
Payment terms are set out in your quotation or invoice. Where materials must be ordered specifically for your job, a contribution towards materials may be requested before the order is placed. The balance is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel before work starts. Where materials have already been specially ordered or cut for your job, we may ask you to cover those costs. Consumers have statutory cancellation rights where a contract is agreed away from our premises, and nothing here limits them.
11. Problems and complaints
If something is not right, tell us: ring 07919 512218 or email tandtrooflines@live.co.uk and we will come back and look. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
